I used to have a much simpler request-a-quote form. The problem with this is I had too many tire kickers who didn’t even give me enough information about what they really wanted from their website. So c) the form is designed to keep away tire kickers and only bring in serious clients. And yes, I freely admit that is one of the reasons for this particular form.
I will gladly teach what I have learned upon request, for an hourly fee. I also plan on doing some free webinars in the future. Part of my content marketing strategy also involves educating people online on how to do various web tasks themselves.
I have required a down payment for some time. In the past, I have done milestone payments. I have switched to more of a productized subscription package model, however. This is similar to the milestone payments but I feel this is both more fair to you, the client, and me, the designer/developer over time.
It is not uncommon for other freelancers to hire me. I may charge less if enough work is given when I’m working for other freelancers and marketing firms.
I accept PayPal.
Since then, some of my clients have been Cornerstone Additions, BZMeet, Daydream Services, 1ParkPlace, Lawrence Miquelon, Patrick Seraphin, Ticky Media, The Master’s Fellowhsip of Raleigh, Griffo, and Metropole Global Forum. I was also employed by San Diego Cabinets for a time as their website designer.
